Turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) mushroom gets its name because of its fan shape and multiple colours which are similar to those of a wild turkey.

 

Turkey tails has been used by traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years, and it is now one of the most studied mushrooms for its health improvement properties.

 

The turkey tail mushroom is edible but rather chewy, which is why it’s most commonly served as a tea or in tinctures. It can also be powered in a blender and added to other mushroom supplements taken in a capsule form.

Storage Information

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
