Dried Girolles



Girolle, also known as chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius), are one of the most popular mushrooms used by chefs. Their colour can range from cream to golden yellow, and they have earthy, apricot taste notes.


Girolles hold their shape very well when cooked. They can be used in various ways and in many recipes ranging from sauces and soups to pastas and risottos.


Girolles can be rehydrated by placing them in hot water for 30 minutes, then removing them with a slotted spoon and discarding the water. They may require a few changes of water to ensure the mushrooms are clean before being added to your chosen recipe.

Storage Information

Store in a resealable bag provided or an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Dry mushrooms can be stored for several years, however we recommend using them within 12 months from opening.
