One of the most prized ingredients, our Black Winter Truffles (also known as Périgord Truffles) are now available.
Black Winter truffles generally start to reach maturity (pungent smell and lovely marbled flesh) from mid December and should be around with us until March (pending season).
They are fantastic sliced or grated and goes really well fish/shelfish, pasta, eggs and many others ingredients.
Fun Fact:
Although the Black Winter Truffles are commonly named Périgord Truffles from the French Périgord region, Spain is the world leader for the production of Black Winter Truffles.

Note: This product was packed on premises that handles wild nuts, wild seeds, wild mustard, wild celery, crustaceans & molluscs (present in minute quantities in seaweed).
Storage Information
Store in the fridge. The freshness of the truffle will last longer when the truffles are wrapped up individually in a paper towel and put in a container.
