Tremella mushrooms (Tremella fuciformis) is an edible mushrooms that grow in tropical and subtropical regions around the world.

Tremella is another mushroom regularly used in the Traditional Chinese Medicine. It contains polysaccharides with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Limited evidence also suggest that Tremella may help in relation to blood sugar control and support brain, skin, immune and heart health.

Fun Fact: The name Tremella comes from the Latin “tremere” meaning “to tremble”. In its fresh form, tremella is looking rather gelatinous and very wobbly.

Storage Information

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Dry mushrooms can be stored for several years, however we recommend using them within 12 months from opening.
